This standard specification covers flat products made of stainless steel, including plates, sheets, coils, and strips. Adhering to this standard ensures that the flat products you use meet general requirements and are suitable for heat treatment.

AISI 300/400 SERIES & 253MA
To meet a wide range of requirements, we supply stainless steel from the AISI 300 and 400 series. The AISI 300 series (austenitic) includes types 304/304L, 310S, and 316/316L. The AISI 400 series (ferritic) includes types 409 and 430. For heat treatment needs, we also offer 253MA.

PRODUCT APPLICATIONS

STANDARD:
ASTM A312: Standard Specification for Austenitic Stainless Steel Pipe.

APPLICATION:
ASTM A312 covers austenitic grades for industrial piping applications in petrochemical, chemical, refinery, pulp & paper, gas, energy, and other fields.

COMMERCIAL GRADES:
304 and 316 are the two most widely used grades among the 45 types of austenitic stainless steel. Therefore, we at Sutindo Raya Mulia maintain stock for these grades.

GRADES:
ASTM A312 pipe includes more than 45 types of austenitic grades. The most commonly used grades are 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 317L, 304H, 321, 310S, etc.

PRODUCTION:
The pipe must be made with an automatic welding process without the addition of filler material. This method of production sets it apart from other standards, which do not specify “without filler material.”
